CRB checks

CRB information

The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) acts as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for organisations, checking police records and, in relevant cases, information held by the Department of Health (DH) and the Department for Education and Skills (DfES).  CRB checks are required for anyone working with children or vulnerable adults.
 
CRB checks can be obtained through local CRB providers. Below are the links to some of the local CRB registered bodies:

CRB Checks for Volunteers
1-10 checks                  £10 each
11-20 checks                 £8 each
Over 20                         £7 each
These charges include all fees and administration. This is a countywide service.
