Royal Visit

We were honoured to be asked to provide a small display in the ballroom at MK Dons Stadium when the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh came for the official opening.

 

Our sponsor, Hyundai Milton Keynes, made sure we all had matching fleeces and caps which are very smart and gave us the appearance of being a professional outfit.

 

Our display included a special fishing seat, wheelchair fishing, some whips and a rod with special fitting in addition to a landing net for use by a person with loss of use in a hand.

 

The Queen stopped for a chat and seemed to respond well to what we do.

 

Although our time with the Royals was short we all felt proud that we had been asked to attend and of what we do in the community.
