Welcome to the Trustee Network section of the Voluntary Sector Gateway

The Trustee Network MK began with its first meeting in February 2009.   Since then we have held other meetings and used an online survey to find out more about what local trustees want from the network. 

We are in the process of building up resource lists for trustees and will keep you informed of new resources as they become available.

Trustee Recruitment for Small Organisations
NCVO recently launched its new trustee recruitment resource for small organisations. This section contains information to help you find, recruit, induct and keep trustees and has lots of different resources to download. 

National Trustees Week
The first national Trustees’ Week will be held from the 24th to the 31st October 2010. Led by the Charity Commission, this week will primarily be used to celebrate the work of trustees and raise the profile of the work they do in organisations across the country.

This will be a great opportunity to celebrate the work of the trustees in your organisation, create greater understanding about their work role, or could even help you recruit new trustees. Further information about how you can get involved will be available through NCVO.
